Sniper ghost warrior 1 hard
Among them are a sniper, Sergeant Tyler "Razor Six-Four" Wells, for long range missions and stealth assignments, a Delta Force operator, Private Anderson, as well as a rebel leader, El Tejon, for missions involving direct firefights. In the game, players take the role of various characters for different missions. There is downloadable content available for the title that seamlessly continues the story line with three additional campaign missions. For example, in one segment players may be participating in an infantry assault on an enemy camp, while the next segment has them assuming the role of a supporting sniper who backs up the assault. All acts are split up into various missions, which usually depict the same event from different points of view. The single player campaign of Sniper: Ghost Warrior is made up of four separate acts, each of which deals with a different conflict. Many waypoints trigger scripted mission events, and some waypoints act as checkpoints, which automatically save the game. While these routes need not be followed exactly, the level design usually ensures an overall linear path due to obstacle placement and invisible walls. Waypoint overlays at all times display the correct routes through the areas players must traverse. Most of the game takes place in a dense jungle environment. An exception to this are spotting missions, in which the primary objective consists of marking targets for a computer-controlled sniper character. In missions that are played with characters who are not snipers, the stealth aspect is dropped in favor of faster-paced "run and gun" scenarios. The main weapons used in the game are silenced pistols, knives and various types of sniper rifles. To simplify this procedure, easier difficulty settings contain indicators that highlight enemies and show precisely where a bullet will hit. Bullet trajectories are subject to wind strength, gravity, breathing and flight time, all of which players must account for when taking shots. As is the case with Sniper Elite, the game incorporates the element of realistic ballistics. As the title suggests, a large portion of the game consists of stealth, staking out targets and firing sniper rifles. Otherwise, it’s just another forgettable FPS in an oversaturated genre. The game is a tactical shooter played from a first-person perspective. If you are feeling a little American Sniper, a little Tom Clancy or if you are one of those hardcore military dudes or chicks, give this game a shoot. The game also gives you plenty of opportunities to shoot two guys with one bullet which I truly appreciate. Every aspect of the game is designed around the idea of being an unseen sharpshooter as the title of the game suggests. You always stalk your prey and gotta be patient as you cooperate with your partner. You immediately die if you are detected and not in cover. The game also fully commits to the sniper theme. Still to this day, the game looks fairly pretty. It is always fun to see CryEngine at work despite some of its shortcomings. The campaign always takes you to interesting locations that parallels the sniper theme of the game. The saving grace of this game is its environments. There is an attempt at cutscenes yet in the cutscenes characters eyes don’t even move. I do not understand how video games like these that takes so much money and effort to make can have such awful script. There are some lines like “What do you think this is, a B action flick?” while it has every Hollywood cliché in the cringiest way possible, the story is written by a twelve-year-old. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 does not have budget for that. They are linear and scripted, yet they deliver bombastic set pieces that make your blood pumping with some really good voice acting and engaging enough story. Think about CoD campaigns (the good ones). That kind of linearity can be advantageous since it can help developers focus on story and presentation. Except for few moments, there is no challenge either as long as you keep it low profile. Shoot the guy who is the furthest away and slowly take the enemies down till the last man who is the closest. You have almost always one way to tackle the missions. In a game like this you want to have options, a little like a sandbox if you will. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 defines mediocrity.
